Testimonials

This is the second van I've had from Howlett Leasing and wouldn't go anywhere else. Changing over the vans is hassle free and they always try to get me the best deal they can. I really didn't need to do anything apart from sign the forms and pay the money. I only dealt with one person throughout the process and didn't get passed about to loads of different people.

Josh Bromback, Hampshire

Howlett's have provided a few cars for us over the years. We have always been handled courteously, efficiently and nothing is too much trouble for Stacey and her team. Better still, the prices are very competitive across all vehicles. I can wholehearted recommend using Howlett Leasing.

Howlett Leasing offer a superb service. Quotations cover a range of vehicles and plans available. Once you make your choice the order process is user friendly and easy to use. Howlett Leasing keep you up to sate on progress. If you have any queries during the process, or afterwards, they are always there to help and if they cannot directly assist they always direct you to who you need to speak to. I have just ordered my second car on lease from Howlett Leasing - I had to come back to them as their whole service is brilliant.

Trina Hill, Cambs

Stacey is probably one of the most helpful people I know and I'd like to thank her for all the advice she gave me in my quest for a new car. I was a bit of a ditherer, but Stacey was very knowledgeable and supportive. If you're after a new car, I can not recommend Howlett Leasing highly enough. Thank you

We decided to use Howlett Leasing as I had previously experienced their services whilst at another company. I found them very helpful and their service was excellent. We like to purchase from like minded people.

Digital Healthcare have used Howlett Leasing since October 2004. We have always found them to be very competitive on price, friendly and helpful to deal with and excellent at providing the service required in a very short space of time! Having challenged them twice this year I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of the service provided. This being my first experience of arranging new lease vehicles I would recommend Howlett's to anyone.

J Witts, Digital Healthcare, Cambridge

Alan Wilkinson from KLH Architects recently took delivery of his new Golf. Having met Alan at a local Networking event, Babergh Friends in Business, we discussed his requirements over a few meetings. His new appointment with KLH Architects meant he needed a car with a good MPG and an affordable monthly payment, without foregoing the essentials and a few luxurys. Alan had this to say:-

'I'd like to thank Stacey Howlett for the excellent service that she provided me and for helping me choose a great car for my needs. She was really helpful throughout the process, right up until the car was delivered. We had a lovely delivery driver who went through the car and showed me everything that I needed to know. Thank you so much again and I would definitely recommend Howlett Leasing to friends, families and other companies'.

We at KLH have been very happy with your service and are very likley to recommend you or use you again.

Thank you.

KLH Architects, Ipswich

Jaguar Land Rover posts huge financial loss

Jaguar Land Rover has posted its fourth consecutive quarter of financial losses, losing £273m in between September and December 2018 on revenues of £6.2bn. The company declared a £90m loss for the financial quarter ending in September 2018, and lost £264m in the preceding quarter, while this latest quarterly loss is the company’s biggest ever. The pre-tax loss was accompanied by a significant adjustment of the company’s balance sheets, with JLR downgrading the value of its assets by £3.1bn. These assets - which can be anything from factories and inventory, to intellectual property rights – have been downgraded to reflect the “muted demand scenario” the company has experienced in recent times.
JLR’s total assets in 2017/18 were around £27bn, meaning the asset value reduction reflects a hit of over 10 per cent. JLR sold 144,602 cars in the last financial quarter, a 6.8 per cent decline on the same period the previous financial year. The company has experienced a significant downturn in the key Chinese market, with growth in Europe and America not being enough to offset this.
Dr. Ralf Speth, JLR’s chief executive, said, said: “challenging market conditions in China” were partly to blame for the disappointing financial results, though he highlighted JLR’s “Charge and Accelerate” transformation programme are intended to ensure the company becomes “efficient and resilient”. The programme is intended to bring about £2.5bn in savings over 18 months, and its announcement was accompanied by news JLR would shed 4,500 jobs.
