I'm on my second lease car from Howlett and it's been a pleasure to sort out each time. Stacey has been really responsive when I've had a question and has really offered an A1 service for me.
I've had 20+ years of experience of using Howletts and Howlett Leasing. The personal, family service is second to none and both the offer, pricing and support is excellent. I would never hesitate to recommend Stacey and Howlett Leasing - no matter your vehicle or funding requirements...

I have just had my Audi Q3 delivered on a business contract hire lease.
I would like to thank Stacey for all her patience in helping me to decide on this car and then finding it promptly for me.

Stacey has looked after my car needs for the past few years. Her customer service is always top notch and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you and keep up the good work!

Having committed the cardinal sin of trying Vanarama for my new van, and despite their unbelievable prices I soon found things were not what they seemed. I soon lost faith. I'd known Stacey for a while and from the first call Howlett Leasing gave me an honest, competitive price with no strings attached, no onerous conditions to meet - just a great price quoted by humans, real people with experience of their profession, this was great! From there it was remarkably easy to process the agreement and take delivery in fact a matter of weeks before my Black Citroen Berlingo arrived. It has since done everything asked of it and more and I'm very pleased with the van and the deal. Stacey also helped with Van insurance too. Thanks Stacey and the Howlett team for processing the contract hire so smoothly, it was great doing business.

'The passion and the process of leasing my Mercedes CLS is as much of an experience as a walk amongst the supercars in a showroom!
'Thanks again, and see you next time...!'
I choose the car partly on the recommendation of Stacey Howlett. You get a lot of car for the monthly fee.
Dealing with Howlett's was so easy, everything was done for us. Already being an existing client made the financial check even easier.

Low CO2 emission of 49 g/km benefitting the drive and cheap monthly rentals benefitting the company was our main reason for purchasing

This is the second time Stacey has found the exact truck and spec faster and cheaper than I could find else where. You get exactly what you ask for with no hassle, with Stacey doing all the work. Thanks for all the work and will be using you again.

The entry point to the Mercedes G-Class range doesn’t come cheap, but when a vehicle has so much charm it seems fruitless to complain about the price. For a select few, there is nothing quite like the G-Wagen – and in this G 350 d guise you get those stunning retro looks and bags of old-school appeal, matched to decent performance along with reasonable efficiency.
It was designed back in the late seventies as a light-use military vehicle; used and abused mostly in the deserts of the Middle East. It gradually gained a cult following as a road car, though, and over time it became a popular left-field alternative to the Land Rover Defender and Jeep Wrangler. But it was always a bit of a shed mechanically, much like the models it sought to compete with. The G was in desperate need of a mechanical upgrade inside and out. But rather than redesign its exterior, Mercedes decided to completely overhaul the car beneath the skin and keep its looks all-but identical to those of the 1979 original. It’s a decision that G-Class customers are more than happy about, according to the brand.
We’ve already driven the storming AMG version, powered by the bonkers 4.0-litre V8. With 577bhp and four side-exit exhausts, it accelerates as violently as you’d expect; sounding like a thunderstorm at full chat. Now though, it’s the turn of Mercedes’ ‘entry-level’ diesel model. Here, propulsion comes from a familiar 3.0-litre straight-six, producing 282bhp and 600Nm. That’s enough to send the G 350 d from 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds and to a top speed of 123mph. Not AMG-fast, but quick enough to make the diesel G feel brisk. It’s not the most aerodynamic vehicle, either; it’s about as slippery as a block of flats.
On the move, though, this doesn’t matter, because up to 70mph it remains supremely refined. Gone are the rigid axles, and in their place is a proper, modernised suspension system with links and dampers that provide a genuinely sophisticated ride.
The nine-speed transmission is excellent, too, and provides super-smooth shifts and can be controlled via the paddles on the steering wheel if the mood dictates.
The four-wheel-drive G-Class still has three differentials to play with if you are really serious about your off-roading; one at either end and another in the centre that locks everything into place. And thanks to its exceptionally good approach and departure angles, it feels capable of driving straight up the side of a snowy mountain with the right person behind the wheel. If the exterior remains endearingly retro, the interior is thoroughly contemporary. You get the same vast cross-dash touchscreen infotainment system as you do in most other modern Mercedes – including the E-Class, GLE and S-Class – with digital dials and state-of-the-art sat-nav, air-con and mobile connectivity. Apart from the upright driving position and boxy proportions, you could be in any of the marque’s latest models. And that’s quite a compliment indeed.
